How we helped curate the First Ever Fashion Tech Conference event in Bangladesh?
How we conceptualized and created from scratch a novel fashion-tech conference event for the first time ever in the history of Bangladesh Apparel Industry.
Create a fashion-tech conference event with the aim of bringing under one roof the digital tech innovations disrupting the fashion industry in and bring them from across the globe to share insights, knowledge and solutions with the Bangladesh Apparel Industry ecosystem stakeholders such as Brands, Buying offices, Apparel Manufacturers etc.

The BANGLADESH FASHION TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATION (BFTI) SUMMIT aims to bridge between the present and the future of the textile and apparel industry in the country through technology and knowledge. The four break-out knowledge sessions will open a knowledge gateway and a networking platform to connect the industry to global technology & knowledge domain. Our speakers will bring in fresh perspectives on contemporary and forward- looking issues, based on the needs of business and shall provide hands-on training, practical knowledge and professional skills through specialized lecture tracks. A plenary session at the outset will set the stage of the day-long discussions.
We did extensive and deep research on the topics that would benefit the apparel industry community in Bangladesh to keep pace with the changing digital technologies. We outlined 4-5 key themes to focus on and created a detailed event agenda for panel discussions and keynotes. We helped with creating the entire Identity and Branding for the event. From Logo to Website to Marketing Brochures.
We also conducted research on who would be the top experts and leading innovators and disruptors in the fashion tech world to reach out to. We then did an extensive outreach effort using targeted email campaigns and social media campaigns to get them to support and join the event. We even got top companies to sponsor the event. We did the entire social media marketing and digital marketing content creation and execution for the event to create the buzz.
Given the fact that there was no past precedent to show, we still managed to create a new concept for the first time ever in the history of Bangladesh, with participation from 17 top level experts from global leaders like IBM Watson, Tukatech, Juki, Universal Robots, Lectra and others.
Collaborating with 25 partners (sponsors/exhibitors) from across 15 different countries, the event was a huge success and was attended by 450+ C-Suite leaders and key influencer from the Bangladesh Fashion Manufacturing Industry.
A digital-tech runway show – again the first ever digital tech fashion runway show was not only conceptualized, but also executed by us, within a short span of time as a last-minute addition with limited resources and budget constraints. Bangladesh Fashionology Summit ended with the grand finale of a digital tech runway show with 38 designs from 6 geek-chic designers from across 6 countries.
In addition we set up Interactive Tech Booths to create audience engagement and education such as AR/VR outfit try on smart mirror, Magic Selfie Booth Touch Screen Mirror, Facebook kind of Graffiti Wall to encourage participants to leave their hand written comments and notes.
